New music TV show feat Frank Iero, Stand Atlantic, Point North, Enter Shikari, and more

Are you bummin hard from all the shows you had to miss over the last year? Well, Sounds of the Underground is about to cure that itch by bringing all of those concerts directly to your screen. Heading into their 3rd season, Sounds has proved that music will overcome all odds.

If you haven’t already heard, Sounds of the Underground is the first and only alternative music show focused on exposing up-and-coming artists while showcasing them alongside major artists and international talent. Developed by Johnny Zirkel of The Wildfires Projekt, and airing on CBS, Sounds of the Underground is seeking to bring music to a starving audience once more.

We’re super excited to be included in this Sounds Of The Underground episode. It was a lot of fun playing a live performance, especially with the time off we’ve had from live shows,” - Lee Jennings (The Funeral Portrait)

The Sounds season premiere on October 21st will include the exclusive premiere of Thriller Records’ He Is We’s brand new song and music video “Finish Line”, as well as exclusive performances by The Funeral PortraitQuiet Like A Thief, and Taken Days.

Being a crew of only 3 people, it’s already challenging to put together a production of this scale under perfect conditions. Having dealt with the struggles the pandemic imposed last year, both for the production and for us individually as people, it was a big question for me whether or not the show should continue,” Zirkel says regarding Season 3. “Ultimately, it felt wrong to give up on something we worked so hard for that brings so much joy, opportunity, and entertainment to artists and viewers around the world.

Other acts expected to appear in the series include: Point NorthStand AtlanticEnter ShikariFrank IeroWith ConfidenceMEST, and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.

Episodes air in select markets on CBS, with nationwide availability on YouTube.
